Who are we?
Jake Pearlmen and Ethan Wang, ex-roommates, are two passionate high school students who have been deeply inspired by Wharton's MoneyBall Program.
Ethan Wang is a student at St. Margaret's Episcopal School in Southern California. He loves playing golf and basketball in his free time. Ethan is a die hard Philly Sports Fan, and has done research in positional value in the NBA using K-means clustering, and in injury forecasting in the NBA using Random Forest Regression. He wishes that this website will allow people to discover a deep love for analytics and numbers through a sports lens, or vice versa. He also has started a Sports Analytics Club in his school, teaching classmates about the skills that he learned in R, and Stats.

Jake Pearlman is a student at Montclair High School in Montclair, New Jersey. He loves playing all types of sports from soccer to tennis to spikeball, you name it! Jake is a die hard New York Sports Fan, with pure hatred for Philly fans. He has been involved in personal research projects and sports analytics competitions through the club he founded at his High School. He recently interned with a major cooperation for their own published research project and hopes to continue to gain more experience in the sports analytics industry. He thinks that this website is a great place for people to learn more about sports analytics and connect with other who possess this passion!
